These are set and enforced by the esslingen.social moderators.

1. Intended audience
   This server is dedicated to people and institutions in the region around Esslingen, Germany (EU), https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esslingen_am_Neckar. New account registrations need approval from the server administration. Due to limited server ressources any registration requests from international sources are blocked.
2. Allowed content
   No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, xenophobia, or casteism.
3. Operation
   This server is operated on a private basis in a german data center and follows european law: https://data.europa.eu/eli/reg/2016/679/deu?locale=en Up to now the operation is privately funded.
4. Backups
   Backups are created daily and three backup generations are stored.
5. Storage policy
   Messages which are older than 1 year can be deleted automatically if they are not marked as favourites
